Thread: Morgan's of Northern Ireland - Hunter, Carrigan

Looking for information on Albert Morgan born approx 1853 in Belfast, father William Carrigan Farmer but that is all I have. Albert married Elizabeth Hunter in 1874 she was a dress maker. Residence in 1891 as 3 Douglas Street Castlereagh Belfast.

Any information greatly appreciated as hit a wall with this.

There’s a marriage shown on the LDS pilot website for a Wm Carrigan who married a Catherine Simm in Larne 1846 Volume 6, page 555. It's the only Wm Carrigan marriage between 1845 when registration of non RC marriages started and Albert Morgan's birth c 1853. (I assume Albert's mother remarried, to account for the name change?). No will for Wm Carrigan listed in PRONI. There are a couple of Wm Carrigan farmers in Griffiths Valuation.
