Hi Anne, Found a few Matchetts in 1901 census for Dundee. It does not say Liff and Benvie but I am sure they are inclusive. I am a Dundee girl myself so almost 100% sure
. If you can give me more info on your Matchetts I may be able to narrow the search a bit.

Hi Mollie,

Many thanks for you reply. I have info on the Matchett's in Liff and Benvie. I am looking for any more people who have them on their family trees. Richard and Rachel Matchett were my 2xgr grandparents. They came from NI to Dundee between 1861 and 1871 with Richard's parents Richard and Alice along with his brother William. I have gone this far back as I started with me and worked back.

If you have any more info I would be glad of it.
