Hello. I have found the Certificate of Marriage for David and Mary. This is the information if you do not
    have it

22 September 1815. Parish of Liverpool. Saint Nicholas Chapel. By Banns.
Page 196. No. 587. No Parents were listed.

I have looked on Anglesey Births as I believe that is where Amlwich is situated. But no Luck

Mary Williams if born in Liverpool. as the Wedding took place here/ Has too many Mary Williams
to choose from I have looked on the date around 1798 But you would only be guessing
Sorry I could not help further

with thanks,yes- this is the trouble i have and now with no parents on the wedding cert and the fact she died before 1841 census will perhaps have to look for her death to see if that holds any clue, thanks again x

I had a quick look but could find anything for Amlwch. The parish records are at the Conty Records office/Archives. Sorry but I guess Mary Williams could have been born anywhere, Sometimes the place of marriage could be the bride's birth place. so it is alwaysworth checking. But often people moved around where the jobs were. Is there a possibility they may be on the 1841 census? How sure are you that David was born in Amlwch?

Is David still alive on the census? unfortunately there are quite a few deaths for Mary Edwards in Liverpool before 1841 and it would be pure guesswork.

hi, pejay, yes- i know there are a lot of deaths its frustrating! i had the place for david from a previous post on a message board - someone was kind enough to look up on a well known web site (not sure i can mention it on here) i think it was from his second marriage.
