Thread: AA Gedsearch Update - Please Read !!

Hi all,



In preperation for the upcoming improvements that are planned for AA in just a few months time, I require some information from members on the AA Gedsearch facility.



When work begins on the site I will be exporting (copying) everyones gedcom file from the tree maker to upload to the new gedsearch system. Dont worry, your tree's will stay intact and I will also be adding your user details to the gedsearch so people can contact you.



This will be done for ALL tree's in the tree maker system unless you state otherwise.

What I need is for all members who DO NOT want their gedcome file added to the Gedsearch facility to reply to this post. I will then exclude your file from the database otherwise ALL GEDCOM FILES WILL BE ADDED.



The idea of this is to have an excellent start state when we launch the new site with all its improvements. To that end, I hope you all agree to this initiative.

This thread will stay here for at least 3 - 4 months giving you all plenty of time to decide.
