Thread: Mary Francis Carr

I am trying to find a birth certificate for Mary (Francis) Carr born aprox 1884 in Hull Yorkshire. On her marriage lines she is named as Mary Carr her father is named as Francis Goodrich Carr Dec'd. she married a William Clubley Jubb on the 26th December 1905 can anyone help

on the 1911 census she gives her dob as 1880 and her birthplace as st ???? parish , kingston upon hull ( could be St Marks or joseph parish???)

I know this is her as on her marriage certificate she has Ruth Robinson and Albert Carr as her witness's
but I can't get any further back. I have sent for various birth certificates for the area and date but none of them have Francis Gooderich Carr as her Father.

Thank you for your reply but I do not think that it is her as I have her on a census 1891 giving her birth as 1880 and living with her brother.

I did send for a certificate of a marriage of a Francis Carr and a Mary Bell which took place in 1856 but on the certificate the ages are as full so I think they would be too old to be parents of Mary Francis Carr I can't find them on any census's I wondered if Mary was a daughter of their daughter (illigitimate) so you can see how I am stuck Thank you so much for trying to help me

i was trying to match up possible albert and mary francis births with the same surname when i came across this. i cant find an albert to go with it though
