Thread: Chat Room Trials

Ancestry Aid will be testing out a new chat room over the next few weeks. We ask that our members use the chat room and then post their feedback within this thread.

This new chat room is cleaner and much simpler to use than our current one and we look forward to your feedback.

Point to note on this chat room.



It is a completely different system to the one currently used on AA. This is alot easier on the server load and should completely cut out any members "freezing" like we experience in the current chat.



If the trials go well and our members like it, this chat will completely replace the current chat room used by AA.

Just been in to have a look around, must say I'm impressed and have to agree with Lozzie, think it will be an asset to the site, and I just love my new cap, lol

Have to agree - the new hat is great.



Looks nice and simple and to eliminate getting "frozen" will be a bonus
