I have research and found that my great great grandfather Mr Watson Bennett died at the beginning of july 1949 he is buried at Glossop Cemetary, if anyone has access to the register please would you be able to have a look i am looking for a grave number.

Sorry but there's no coverage of Glossop at all in the NBI (third edition).

Meant to say if you contact the cemetary directly they will be able to tell you the grave number.

thank you - i spoke to the carriage company that did the funeral and then spoke to high peak council and they are going to find it for me its £15 though but if its the only way its the only way lol

There is a Fred Bennett, gunner Royal Artillery who died 3 April 1942 buried at Glossop cemetery C of E grave 3889. Thought he might be one of yours.

Yeah he is a relation he is my great grandfather we put a poppy on his grave every year. Im looking for his dad Watson Bennett is Fred Bennetts dad thank you for looking outside the box though
