    Hi Crocker street!

    I am afraid I don't know the answer! I have seen Ancestry.co.uk being flashed up as an advert but that could just be as source of revenue for the owner(s). I am sure that the owner(s) or Mods can answer your question better than I!

    Thanks for your prompt answers guys, source of revenue does it for me. The seamless type ads.and strategically placed links just looked a bit ominous thats all...
    Just one more question, sorry but i have a quizzical mind.....
    Probably regret this...
    In the "Whats going on" section...active users, why are some names in different colours..Is there a reason ie. rank..or is it just a case of editing your profile....
