How do you edit your thread?

Can anyone tell me how to edit a thread you have posted please.

I have noted some typo errors on one of mine in my haste to post on the BIG HELP thread.

Hi Calmar, You'll see on the bottom of your thread EDIT POST with a pencil icon, Just click and you'll be able to correct it .

That facility definitely doesn't show on that thread. I have looked at all the other messages and - nothing! It is showing on my 1st thread for this message but not showing on The Big Search one.

Your no 50 on the big help thread and i can see you have got EDIT POST then REPLY then QUOTE then multiquote
If you cant see it let me know and i'll correct it for you

Yes, I got Edit Post here, but it is the first time I have seen it. Does it perhaps not show up on certain threads such as Word Games ?

The Edit Post sign did not appear.

I have been having this problem in the last 2 versions of the forums. I can only edit posts in the Information area of the forum. I cannot edit anything further down from Genealogy Help Area. When I look down to Posting Permissions from the Genealogy Help area down it says I may NOT post attachments and I may NOT edit your posts. It is getting very annoying. In previous versions of AA I have been able to edit and post attachments but not in at least the last 2 versions.

No it is not showing just now and I see others are having the same trouble. Jon's message says it has been adjusted, but not on my thread!!
