    Default Weekly Hunt

Would it be an idea to have a 'Weekly Hunt' board - members could submit details of a particularly difficult ancestor/brickwall to Admin/Mods, and one would be selected on a weekly basis and put under the spotlight for the attention of all members, with a request that they assist in the solution of the problem(s).

Good idea and I am sure it will generate a lot of interest initially but the problem is the most likely posts will be those which need more than just online searches - and parish register/newspaper searches etc need much longer than a week. Or Ireland (where probably we can't help). And we already have a 'Most Wanted' board. Sorry - I don't mean to be negative but if it is to work someone needs to think through really carefully which posts are to be selected and what to do with the others.
