How To Advertise A Service

Hello,
I recently placed an advert into the advertising section, but my post was moved to the photos section. then my post was removed, and replaced with text saying "please ask permission before advertising".
Please could a moderator contact me to discuss the service I would like to offer to members?

It would have been removed by the site owners, so you would need to contact Jon.
Commercial links are not allowed on Ancestry Aid. Although you have not added a link or site to your post, you are still asking for payment which would need permission. Your post is also visible via google so you would be getting free advertising.

Starlight is completely right. I was the one that edited your post as I thought it a little rude for someone to only have one post on a forum and that post offers a paid service for which the poster will earn revenue from.
A little courtesy goes along way, by this I mean you could have contacted any member of the team or via the site contact page to ask us if it was ok to place your ad.
Please see it from our point of view, you are not contributing to the board in any way, you have just posted an advert for your services.
