Please could everyone open their pm boxes.

Go to your Account at the top of the forum
User Control Panel
Edit options
Messaging & Notification

Then tick Enable Private Messaging

As the information has come from the database, many of the pm's may be old ones which will need to be deleted again. Older members may find that their pm box is full and they will not be able to recieve pm's until the old ones have been deleted.

Please Note:

Having now seen the issue pointed out above by Starlight (thank you star) I have now set ALL members to be able to receive PM's. There is now no need for you to alter your setting.

I also had a look at the database to confirm if there was an issue with old PM's being imported. Indeed there was.
Unfortunately the import of PM's had got the ID's mixed and due to security issues ALL PM's had to be deleted. This was because some users received other users PM's in error. I had no choice but to delete them.

The PM system will now run smoothly. Thank you.

I deleted over 560 of mine last night but those were all very old ones form 2008.
