Thread: help with posting and recommendation regarding ancestry sites

Just new and would like to know where is the right place to post the names I am having difficulty with, I have had a reply to my introduction which offered help when I posted the names in a different area.



I'm in Australia so the time difference appears to be a factor.



I have tried many many ancestry sites but they all seem to have different information available. I am looking for early 1800s and 1700s in England (Bath Cornwall) and Ireland.



Its cost a few dollars to buy a pound plus fees and I would like to try and get value for money, any advice would be much appreciated.

Firstly, Ancestry Aid has no connection to Ancestry.co.uk or Ancestry.com

The best place to start posting on here would probably be in the request help forum in the following section :-

The time does not make any difference. There are members from all over the world on this site. You will probably see Marion quite a bit when her computer is fixed. Any replies from others, you can always read when you wake up.



The surnames of interest and counties forums are for making contact with others researching the same names. These can be seen from elsewhere on the internet but will probably be best to leave until no one can help you further on here.
