Hi , how can i get different colours when typing, im fed up with just black

Hi Hazlenut if you find where it says other styles fonts sizes at top of the reply box you will see what i think is a pen click on that and change colour hope that makes sence

Type your message as normal, then highlight it, choose your font or size or colour from the bar above the message, if you want to change 2 things then highlight the whole lot again and choose your next change, you have to highlight each time you wish to make a change.

Tried what you told me don, when i click the colour it says colour off

just clicked again and will wait and see if its on

It sounds like something in your settings but I don't know what

Try this go to your settings,on the first page scroll down to enable visual rich text editor, tick this then save settings, you can then select your font and colour etc, before you type your message,I've just done this by that method.

Thanks from me, too Don . Both methods you suggest are a great improvement on the one I worked out which is to click on the changes I want one at a time, slotting each new one between the words that come up and finally slotting me post in the middle of them all. ( Am I making any sense , at all ? ) Mostly works, not always, and very tedious. I hope not to have to do that any more. Shall experiment a bit later on.
