Geneology Coffee Room threads ?

I'm a bit confused ?? I've been putting little 'historic facts', i.e. inventions, lifestyles of ancestors etc. on the Geneology Coffee Room Board and history connecting places on the History board in the Counties/areas section. I looked today and found a lot of the 'historic facts' were on the Counties/areas board. Is there a reason for this and where do I put stuff now

I moved the posts from Genealogy room to the History boards , The reason being a lot of genealogy threads are getting buried by the History threads

Carry on posting the History threads on the history board

If general history stuff now goes on the 'history' part of area and counties can the title be changed so peeps know the sort of stuff thats on there otherwise they might think its just 'county & town' stuff.

Have I got that right ?

does that mean there's nowhere specific for little bits of history we find, ie. victorian way of life, inventions. etc. ?

So everyone will know that it is general history bits and not just county history

Cheers Shan. Have to say I would prefer to have the history of places kept separate from the other little bits we find..........still, long we I know where to put it......................lol Take me a while to get used to it with my old brain............lol

Ummmmm bit 'fick' I think.........what goes on the geneoglogy chat room? Not too good at geneology chat and we've got boards for look ups and stuff bit bewildered (what's new.............lol)
