Default Treemaker

I am slowly adding my tree . I have been able to add spouse / family for my direct line - but not , for example , wives and children for my gt grandfather's brothers . I click on " add spouse" and the box reads " add of .... , not " add spouse of ".
I have uploaded photos , mostly with no problem , but some have been rejected as " file not supported" though I had uploaded the same photo to my Ancestry.Com tree.

Hi there,

Could you be a little more specific as to the problem you are having. Where the problem is, what page etc.

I will then see if I can help you further.

Kind regards

Unhappy Re: Treemaker

Hi Jon, I just had another go , still can't add spouse/ children.
step by step what I did -
On my family tree I clicked on Francis Knight Forse and got his personal page.
Clicked onto his daughter Sarah 1834 and got her page.
Clicked "add spouse". A box came on the screen. Put in her husband's name Thomas Gallop born 1847 Uffculme.
When I clicked to add him to the tree the form went blank , hadn't been added.
This happens to all Francis's children apart from son John who is my direct line.

Hi Cymraes,

Try this :-
Open Sarah's page. Go down the page and click add new event. On the left click add marriage, add spouse and enter name of new spouse and submit. In the new box enter details of marriage if you know them if not just go to top where it says back to Sarah.

Thanks for your help. I am now able to add a spouse using " add life event" as suggested and then children are easy to add.
