I know this is just me being stupid, since nobody else has reported this problem, and I hope someone can point me in the direction of the right things to click.
Got all psyched up last night to put my tree on the new Treemaker. Registered and logged in - no problem, and delighted with it, congratulations, Jon. Put in myself, easy-peasy. Added my father, simple. Having found out how it all worked, decided to leave the next step until today. Logged out. Today I logged in again, and then stuck. I know that somewhere there is a a wee button to take me to the place where I left it but dammit my eyes are missing it, and I've clicked on every likely looking thing I can find, but all that comes up is the very first 'getting started' page, and I've done that. Did I perhaps somehow delete last night's entries ? If not, where am I going wrong ? I did wonder whether I shouldn't have used the same username and password as my normal ones, but they do work. Can anyone help ? I know I'm going to feel a real dummie if someone puts me right, (well, I am ) but that's just too bad. anny. |

Jon here. (Using Kellys account) Because you only added the father in the begginning steps and did not add a mother and finish the initial process, your tree was not created. You need to add the first three people and see the process through to the end before your tree then submits and is added. You just need to start your tree again, but this time add all three initial people and then your tree will exist. Hope that explains it for you. Regards Jon |

Hi Jon,
I would never have thought of that by myself, although it's probably printed there somewhere and I didn't see it. So thank you so much for explaining. I shall have another go now, and try to get it right this time. Fingers crossed. Thanks again, anny. |
