Thread: AA Tree Maker - 150608

We now are pleased to announce a launch date for the Ancestry Aid Tree Maker.

The plan is for the new system to launch on Sunday 29th June 2008.

More information can be found in the new AA Calendar (link found in the navbar above).
The final phases contain 3 main stages:

Style Edits - Time: 2-3 days.
Testing - Time: 2-4 days.
Test Edits - Time: 1-2 days.

Once these stages are completed the tree maker will launch. An email will be sent to all members of AA explaining the launch and all features included.

(Please Note: The links for FAQ & AA AWARDS have been moved to the Quick Links area of the navbar).

Along with the launch of the tree maker Ancestry Aid will close for a maximum of 3 days for updates to accommodate the system. Changes required:

Home Page Redesign - To implement Tree maker (Now Finished - will be uploaded on launch day)
New LOGO, header navigation and site footer.

We are very excited about the launch. It has been hard work getting to this point but all is soon to pay off.

Hi all,

Looks like we will all have to wait a little bit longer for the tree.

Having received an update from the coders we have decided to push things to the right a little.

I do NOT want to rush them into completing the system as I want them to take their time and get it right the first time rather than rush it and make mistakes. I think you will all agree on that.

Once I know a definate time scale of when the system will be nearly ready I will then let you all know. I dont think it will be too much longer though, maybe another week.

Will keep you posted.
