Default ABOUT "SUBMIT A BIRTH RECORD"

IS THIS THE CORRECT PLACE TO POSE THIS QUERY ?
If not, will the administrator(s) please move it ?

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

With regard to "SUBMIT A BIRTH RECORD" which is found here :

http://www.ancestryaid.co.uk/data/fr...birth_form.php

....and under "Related Birth Information", what is meant by "Informant" ?
... or who is the informant ?

In other words, is it the bleeding obvious, meaning that it is oneself, bearing in mind that one uses the "Your Site Username" box to 'sign' ones screen name ?

The informant at a birth is the person named on the certificate in column 7.

Is that what you mean?

Yes it is

Just choose list all my records in the yellow box. It then shows what you have added and allows you to edit from there..

When adding entries that you have transcribed from Parish records or headstones etc, you will find that not all boxes can be filled in. Don't worry about it, just add what you can.
