Well done Jon, absolutely great - a very big THANK YOU. Can't wait to get started, if I start adding now though, I think Sunday roast will be rather burned.

For those that have not seen it.

If you require the need to edit your records go to the main page of the Vital Records, scroll down to the middle of the page and you will see a large orange button. Cicking this will take you to a page that will list ALL the records you have submitted. Click on the required name to edit that record.

Kind regards

Hi all,

A small error was reported by a number of people regarding the "edit record" pages. When editing a birth or a death record the gender of the person would default to Male unless you changed it again.

I have now fixed this problem. The system will default to what ever you set the gender to when you origionally added the record.

Sorry for the hiccup.

Kind regards

Brilliant! Well done again Jon!

I've added a couple to get the feel of it and have now decided that instead of chilling in the archives tomorrow (not been for weeks) I am going to start loading all my info on here!

Just to clarify: I can upload all the baptism, marriages and deaths that I have transcribed myself from the Parish Registers at the archives?

All the gravestones I have transcribed i can upload

and all the BMD certificates I have in my possession?

Lol not wanting to sound stupid....just thought it best to double check

Just an afterthought Jon: When searching for a marriage , it is either Bride or Groom name....is there any chance of searching for WITNESS names?? I know its a long shot, but maybe someone ancestor could be a Witness to a marriage, but we wouldnt know who they were a witness to ?!? Hope that makes sense....and no probs if the search cant be done...what you have is really good anyway
