Hi I just typed in my surname and done a surname and searched the gedcom and surname records both were blank does that mean I dont exist

Hi Angus,

You need to upload your own gedcom to the data base and enter your surnames before they will show up. Your own name will not show as you are a living person. This is for your own security as identity theft is a real problem these days. I hope that helps.
