You can still pick one from the site list by going into quick links - edit options.

Click - FAQ
Click - user maintainance, at the bottom
Click - how do I get a picture under my username
Click - For more information about avatars
I cannot see If you can see a picture but if you can then you are able to put one on.

Nothing there star............something about a list but couldn't find anything else so no piccy..............oh poo............wish I'd left my old one there now...................lol
