Along with all the other site updates that are going to happen, I am also planning to update the Surnames database:



Planned changes:



1: Change name to Surnames - Most Wanted

2: More fields added. Result will be:
  • First Name
  • Last Name
  • Year Born
  • County
  • Country
  • Description
3: Contact Owner feature added so that others can PM the owner of a name to offer or ask for help.

4: Editable records. If you submit a name to the database and make a mystake you will be able to edit your mystake. Or if you simply want to update your records, you can.

5: New cleaner look and easier navigation.





The existing names in the database WILL NOT be deleted and owners WILL be able to update them.





I do hope you will all like the new Surnames system and hope that we can get more usage out of a potentially useful tool once it is up and running.



If anyone thinks that more fields need to be added please say.
