Hello. I'm brand new ! when I Log in I can't find where to post a message.

Hello Jim,
Sorry but do not know exactly what you mean, youve just posted correctly anyway and began new thread.
Hi Jim,
If you are wanting help in finding ancestors, post in the The Genealogy Help Area.
This is divided into Request help, Lookup requests, Help offered by other members and most wanted hard to find.
If you are trying to contact others with a similar interest post in the Surnames Of Interest or Counties & Other Areas Of Interest forums.
The Surnames of Interest and Vital Records databases can also be used to find others with similar interests. Any problems, don't be afraid to ask. Don't worry about posting in the wrong place as these will be moved to the correct place. You will either see a redirect arrow or be informed where the post has been moved to.
Probably sounds daft but, when I have logged in, there doesn't appear to be "New Threads" tab. But when I went to "Help" there is. That is how I posted my query ! Please bear with me !
Jim
Hi Jim,
If you still cannot post on any other forums, try deleting cookies and then sign back in again. Let me know if you still cannot get any further.
GOT IT ! I think. I didn't realise you had to go to a particular forum for "New Threads" tab to appear.
Thanks for your help.
You don't only go bald when you get old(ish) !!!
Jim.
Don't worry Jim,
I'm glad you have found the problem. It saves me pulling any more hair out, I couldn't work out what was going wrong.![]()
P.S - When you find the Private messages, it doesn't matter now.
Well done Jim,I did,nt know either when I started a few months back, you will soon get the hang of it and enjoy the site. Regards Ken.
Cheers Ken. I've been dragged, kicking and screaming, into the 21st. century by my sons...best thing I ever done (except, maybe, watching Liverpool win the cup in '65 !) Sorry...
I am, as you may have gathered, just feeling my way on these forums and find them quite amazing. Speak to you again.
Take care
Jim
