Default Horncastle folklore

Is this true or false ?

There is an old folklore which relates the Horncastle floods to the change of the town's vicar. The vicar changed in 1919 & 1959, coinciding with floods in 1920 & 1960 (less than a year between the occurrences). Also, the vicar changed in 1980, the year of another flood. The current vicar, Mike Burson-Thomas, is due to hold his last sermon in Horncastle next month, so we will have another change.

(AKA Mary)

How beautiful it is to do nothing and rest afterwards...
