It seems that I popped into chat
One day last week - well , fancy that !
I didn't know I had .
In fact ,I didn't know I could ,
I've not downloaded what I should
To make it work - that's mad !
I only know because I found,
While shuffling papers lying around ,
One that was strange , indeed .
A printout saying "You've entered chat " ,
And " welcome ! ". and more stuff like that ,
In print too small to read .
The thing that exercised my brain
For quite some time was to explain
How this had come to be .
If I'd tried to get into chat
I wouldn't have forgotteen that -
And then it came to me .
The grandchildren , of course - it's plain !
They've been on the PC again
I must have been logged in.
The rascals ventured into Chat
How could they do it , just like that ,
When I have never been?
It's plain that what I have to do
Is question them and find out who
It was that found the way ,
And then persuade them to repeat
This extraordinary feat
And make their Granny's day !
