Try enlarging the image from a high resolution scan with BenVista PhotoZoom Pro (Free try before buy). I tried with the image you uploaded and it looks like in the centre 2 animals on hind legs against a central post, the left one could be a horse. Above could be a crown. the surround could just be leaves with a motto on the scroll underneath.
I might be totally wrong
