Would it be fair to point out that, if a member wishes to add to the BMD records, and that member does not possess proper documentation for an entry, but is purely relying on sound 'family knowledge', would it be permissable to do this ?


Please excuse this somewhat convoluted sentence.


If this is permissable, would it not be a reasonable ldea to have this stated on the "Free BMD" page ?
