Dear Poet Room I'm new here
and can't rhyme very well,
I used to be a writer (amateur)
but nothing could I sell (awww)

One day I became poorly
and been ill ever since,
my brain has now forgotten how
to put pen into ink.

I hope one day to shock you
and turn up with a rhyme,
but until that time comes
I'll read all the other lines.
