I have relations in Birmingham and Durham called Gutteridge. My Gran
dfather was born William Gutteridge but the name was changed to Guthridge for some reason. His son William Anthony changed the spelling again to Gutheridge. He and his family lived in Birmingham. His sons and a daughter were born in Birmingham. Does this help?
