Really??? I have been reading through some notes tonight and "alledgedly" my Mums Uncle served on this ship during the 2nd world war...."apparently" he survived the sinking of it although thats family lore !! lol

Of course being a Shefffielder I really should know the history of "our" ships but alas I only know the HMS Sheffield that was sunk in the Falklands War

Hey wonder if ya Dad and my great Uncle worked together... ahh wierd!!
